Empowering Mission Partnerships
Our Mission
No vision of God's calling or activity in our world is fixed and unchanging, stagnant and lifeless. We serve the living God who calls us to "new things!" Believing that our vision and understanding of God's calling is dynamic and vital (i.e. alive and growing), we offer this statement of the mission we discern for Redstone Presbytery at this time and in this place:
- To be a support and resource for vital, mission-oriented congregations within the bounds of Redstone Presbytery;
- To undertake mission projects which can most effectively be carried out only by a middle governing body, rather than by individual congregations or, on the other hand, by the General Assembly;
- And to carry out the duties of a presbytery as mandated by the Book of Order.

Disaster Relief Schedules
As of March 1st, there are no Disaster Relief Trips scheduled by churches in the Presbytery. As soon as we are notified, the information will be posted.
2023 Mission Trips
Planning a Mission trip to Webster, WV from April 16-22.
Planning a Mission trip to Kentucky/coordinated with PDS to Madisonville, KY on June 10-15. Up to 38 people can attend.
If interested in either of these opportunities, contact the Presbytery office for more information.
Redstone Presbytery Mission Opportunties
This mission page is to list any mission project that your church would like to invite others to join. This could include a mission trip, a work camp, an evangelism ministry, or whatever mission God has led your congregation to do.
Information to include would be:
- Name of Church
- Name and Phone Number of a Contact Person
- Date of the Project
- A BRIEF Description

Report of the Mission Strategy Task Force - Sept 2005
The Mission Statement of the Redstone Presbytery Task Force on Mission Strategy says:

Providing Clean Water
Getting pure, clean water in some areas of the world is next to impossible. Water is often drawn from rivers and streams polluted by human and animal waste, which then leads to diseases such as dysentery.
Your church can help, by combining with the Advent Conspiracy, you can provide clean water for a village in a third world area. The following video shows how one church has done this:
