Many churches are wondering what to do for the offering since they are postponing worship or moving to an online format. Churches are able to register for online giving through the Presbyterian Foundation. With their service, there is no startup fee or recurring fees. The only fee is 2% of the transaction. So, if an individual would give $100, the church receives $98 and $2 goes to the Foundation for administrative costs. Because they are a proper Foundation, they receive and receipt the gift on behalf of the church. If you sign up with the Foundation’s online giving program, your church will receive a starter set of 100 pew cards as well. For more information there are several documents that you can download.
